What is LETS?LETS stands for Local Exchange Trading Scheme. There are over 400 LETS schemes in the UK today. It's a scheme that allows local people to exchange goods and services with one another without using money. People come together to barter amongst themselves. Our currency is called Readies: as a rough guide 10 Readies is similar to one hour's labour.
